Happy Thanksgiving

Hope everyone has a very enjoyable and yummy Thanksgiving. Things I'm grateful for this year:

• My family
• My dog
• And all of my friends and fellow writers who have encouraged me all these years in pursuit of my dream. THANK YOU! I'm so blessed to have all of you in my life.

I'm also thankful for great movies. I'm especially excited about The Watchman. You mention graphic novels or comics and some people will sneer and say how they're for children. Or others will make fun for you not letting go of childhood. But those critics are missing out on amazing, complex stories. I just read The Watchman and was blown away. The detail is absolutely amazing. Nothing is wasted in this story. Everything has a meaning, even the news airing in the background on TV and comics being read within this comic. Not to mention that the issues with which the characters are dealing reflect what's going on in politics and society today.

It's on my keeper shelf.
